In the academic year of 2022/23, the Hungarian Startup University Program (HSUP) was nationwide organised for the 3rd time with the aim of providing the opportunity for young Hungarian university students to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the path to the realisation of their innovative idea in the form of an online course. We have learned a lot from creating an innovative idea to market validation and market entry during the two semesters.
Our one-pager on the topic of Augmented / Mixed Reality (AR / MR) in medicine developed on the basis of the first semester’s studies, was selected by an independent panel of academic experts as one of the nearly 200 most successful projects from thousands of ideas.
HSUP has created the opportunity to build a team with a wide range of skills and knowledge, including medical, economic and technical expertise. Our newly-formed team named HoloSapiens was mentored by the director of the Innovation Center of Semmelweis University, Dr. Gyula Szigeti PhD. and the director of the University Research and Innovation Center of Óbuda University, Tamás Haidegger PhD.
